ITSSD-Whitehead School Internship Program

On June 6, 2007, The Institute for Trade, Standards and Sustainable Development (ITSSD) announced its commencement of a student internship program with Seton Hall University’s John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations.

The Whitehead School, located in South Orange, New Jersey, offers graduate and undergraduate students a world class education in international affairs that combines a cutting-edge curriculum with a deep understanding of global issues and essential real world experience.  Whitehead School students benefit from the school’s unique relationship with the United Nations Association of the USA, the broader UN community, and its proximity to New York City.

The ITSSD-Whitehead School Internship Program is intended to facilitate the sharing of ITSSD’s real world knowledge and experience with Whitehead School students.  The program’s goal is to foster the development of competent and capable future business and legal professionals possessing a global purview.

Consistent with the ITSSD’s mission, the program will focus on helping students to appreciate the indispensable role served by private property rights, the rule of law, good governance, best available science, economic cost-benefit analysis and due process in the continually evolving international system.
